1. KPOT KOREAN BBQ & HOT POT

Website: thekpot.com
Address: 12485 I-10 Suite 103, San Antonio, TX 78230
Contact: (210) 910-4494
Hours: Sunday to Thursday 11:30AM–10:00PM | Friday to Saturday 11:30AM–11:00PM
We really enjoy meals that turn dining into something interactive rather than just sitting down to eat. KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot delivers exactly that.
They combine traditional sizzling Korean BBQ with customizable hot pot options, letting us step into the role of the chef.
We recently took some friends here, and we had a great time building our own spicy dipping blends at the sauce bar before grilling a generous spread of brisket.
It’s the kind of setup that naturally brings people together, since everyone cooks and shares the experience at the table.
We also like that they offer a full-service bar with craft cocktails, which adds a fun twist similar to pairing drinks at local tasting spots.
They have a strict group policy, though. Everyone at the table has to agree on either BBQ or hot pot, which can create some back-and-forth.
Late arrivals may also feel a bit rushed due to the early seating cutoff before closing time.

Fresh meats (bulgogi and pork belly were highlights), flavorful broths
Loved the all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ + hot pot combo at the Interstate 10 West location. Fresh meats (bulgogi and pork belly were highlights), flavorful broths, and endless toppings from the bar. The DIY sauce station is awesome.
Shoutout to our server Aitana—super friendly, attentive, and made everything smooth for our group. Quick refills, great recommendations, and kept the grill clean.
Fun vibe, delicious food, and excellent service. Highly recommend—definitely going back! 🔥🍲

2. DAE GEE KOREAN BBQ

Website: daegee.com
Address: 19186 Blanco Rd #103, San Antonio, TX 78258
Contact: +1 (210) 254-9078 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday to Tuesday 4:00PM–10:00PM | Thursday to Sunday 12:00PM–10:00PM
We really enjoy places that take grilled meats beyond the usual experience, and DAE GEE Korean BBQ does that through its proprietary marinades and distinctive dipping sauces. No wonder it’s been featured on a popular television show!
We also like the modern layout. It creates a lively atmosphere where guests can enjoy well-seasoned proteins alongside their highly praised Korean fried chicken.
The kitchen is very flexible with dietary adjustments too, making it easier for a wider range of guests to participate in the experience.
Their mobile app is also convenient for ordering and earning loyalty rewards, which helps streamline repeat visits.
On the downside, we’ve noticed that some dishes aren’t always consistently available, so popular items like traditional pancakes may run out.
Plus, if you’re hoping to use their scalable event catering for a spontaneous gathering, their strict one-day advance notice requirement will leave you looking for other options.

My favorite Kbbq in San Antonio
My favorite Kbbq in San Antonio! My husband and I got the spicy pork and beef bulgogi, pork belly, and short rib. The beef short rib was our favorite but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything you order. They provide all of the korean sides as well which is my favorite part. They also have cucumber kimchi which I always struggle to find. Gaby our server was the best and so attentive and the owner even came by for thanking us for visiting!! I
recommend Dae Gee 100%.

Everything was so good
We had such an amazing experience at Dae Gee Korean BBQ! From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. We went for lunch and did the unlimited lunch KBBQ, and everything was so good. The beef bulgogi, pork bulgogi, and galbi short ribs were all incredible—well marinated, flavorful, and super tender.

3. KOREANA RESTAURANT

Website: koreana.restaurant
Address: 2458 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209
Contact: (210) 804-0019 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday to Thursday 11:00AM–9:00PM | Friday to Saturday 11:00AM–10:00PM | Sunday 12:00PM–7:00PM
Koreana Restaurant stands out for preserving traditional Korean cooking methods for over 25 years. They emphasize authenticity, with a menu built around classic marinades and bold, well-developed flavors rooted in traditional Korean cuisine.
The atmosphere also feels welcoming. It’s shaped by a dedicated female owner who brings a unique perspective from her background running successful out-of-state salons.
We also appreciate how premium meat orders are served with a wide spread of traditional aromatics and dipping sauces. It’s a place that’s just as welcoming to longtime K-food enthusiasts as it is to newcomers trying the cuisine for the first time.
Just note that several premium barbecue options are strictly portioned for multiple people. This makes it rather difficult for solo diners to enjoy these meats without over-ordering.
Additionally, if you need to ask questions about large events, their strict inquiry window means you cannot get assistance outside of standard operating hours.

Great flavors with all the dishes
Dad and hubby had the Dole Lemonade, and I had the Lychee Hanjan. Hanjan wasn’t sake but tasted a bit similar. We got several dishes to share: Japchae, LA Galbi, and Seafood Soft Tofu Soup. Great flavors with all the dishes! The beef short rib was very tender and tasty. The soup was spicy, so my hubby enjoyed that more. The best part is the ban chan, all the variety of sides from kimchi to cucumber to potatoes.

4. OOH LA LA KOREAN BBQ

Nothing beats the comforting warmth of a family-owned operation that strives to bring a home-like dining atmosphere to the local community. OOH LA LA KOREAN BBQ delivers this vibe perfectly.
They offer unlimited meat reordering, allowing guests to continuously request their favorite proteins throughout the meal.
We recently dined here, and we really loved the affordable weekday lunch rates. The side dishes were incredibly fresh, too, completing the hearty spread.
The staff provides intermittent grilling assistance and even proactively offers to swap out your cooking surface after every single round. It’s a highly personalized touch, almost similar to the pacing you might expect from an upscale omakase service.
That said, guests should prepare to manage the tongs themselves, as the venue doesn’t provide dedicated tableside cooking.
You also need to watch the clock, because management enforces a firm two-hour time limit to complete your entire feast.

I had the BEST experience here
I’ve been to so many kbbq places here in San Antonio and other city’s and I must say. I had the BEST experience here. What got me were the SIDE DISHES! Cold noodles, ttoboki, korean corn dogs, etc were NOT and extra charge and were included in the meal. As somone who loves to pair my meat with other dishes, this was a DREAM come true!!! This was my first time comming and won’t be my last. Best birthday meal ever 💖

The meats were nice and marinated
Fantastic spot for Korean BBQ! The meats were nice and marinated. I ordered spicy chicken/beef bulgogi and was amazing. The unlimited sides make it worth the money I tried out the ramen and Korean corndog if I wasn’t full I would get more. The service was phenomenal and AJ made the kbbq experience easy to enjoy. If you are going, definitely take a plus one because you get your money’s worth for two .

5. SEOUL FOOD (KOREAN GRILL)

Contact: +1 210 476 5135
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday 11:00AM–10:00PM | Sunday 12:00PM–9:00AM
Seoul Food (Korean Grill) prides itself on using authentic preparation methods to recreate the true, comforting flavors of classic dishes like Jja Jang Myun.
The spacious traditional interior also makes it a comfortable choice for casual diners and families who want generous, hearty portions in a relaxed setting.
We also value the practical conveniences that improve the overall visit. They offer strong vegetarian options and the ease of ordering through multiple delivery apps for relaxed nights at home.
Complimentary parking is another helpful detail that makes arrival smooth and stress-free.
One downside we’ve noticed is that service can feel a bit inconsistent, with infrequent table check-ins that may not suit diners who expect a more attentive pace.
Some returning guests have also expressed disappointment that certain menu items have been removed, particularly popular comfort dishes they hoped would remain available.

Food was delicious, 10/10
Food was delicious, 10/10. Staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered the spicy chicken bulgogi as well as the beef bulgogi and both were very flavorful. The kimchi pancake was amazing! We were disappointed that they no longer offered the fried chicken dishes on the menu as that was one of the items we were going to order.

Tteokbokki brought the perfect spicy kick
Visited a this spot and dug into some fantastic dishes. Tteokbokki brought the perfect spicy kick, Japchae impressed with its savory goodness, and the stir-fry tofu was a hit. The dimly lit atmosphere sets a mood, though service falls in the “okay” range. But let’s talk about the star – the food. It’s on point. If you’re willing to compromise a bit on ambiance for the sake of taste, this place nails it. Tantalizing flavors await!
