Planning a remote off-site can be a logistical nightmare when you have a distributed staff.
AdVenture Games Team Building San Antonio solves this problem by offering a concierge-style of customization. This means they tailor the entire program to your specific goals and bring the experience directly to your office.
When I hired them for our leadership retreat, the facilitators transformed our dull conference room into an intense puzzle scenario. The professional actors kept energy levels high, ensuring everyone participated in the strategy sessions.
Their portability makes them a very convenient option for busy planners.
However, you do need to plan ahead because they require at least a week’s notice. Also, their hybrid games require downloading specific mobile apps. This can be a bit frustrating for team members who are not very tech-savvy.
2. Bricks Team Building

Website: https://bricksteambuilding.com/
Address: 903 E Bitters Rd, Suite #305-B
Contact: (210) 236-1423 | [email protected]
Hours:
- Monday – Saturday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Sunday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Corporate training often feels dry and uninspiring, but Bricks Team Building changes that by using plastic bricks to improve communication.
Led by a former Air Force instructor, these sessions combine military leadership tactics with a hands-on, creative format.
The process of building models helps everyone relax and work together. This levels the playing field, allowing interns to collaborate more easily with senior executives.
Instead of just being a social hour, the exercises teach practical skills, such as how to delegate tasks effectively. While this methodology is very clever, the toy-based theme requires participants to be open-minded and young at heart.
You should also keep in mind that their sessions are designed for groups of 10 to 30 people. This specific size limit can make it difficult for very small startups to participate in the program.

The team building exceeded our expectations
Ron and his team were fantastic. Sundip made it very easy to schedule. The team building exceeding our expectations. There were a team of five of us, all partners and executives. Ron guided us through a series of exercises that focused on communication and the importance of teamwork. I recommend this any to any team considering this. I will say, according to Ron, we were one of the only teams to ever successfully complete the final exercise and in record time. Good luck!

Injecting a healthy dose of competition into a corporate event often fosters strong bonding. K1 Speed caters to thrill-seekers by offering high-performance electric go-karts that reach 45 miles per hour.
Beyond standard races, they offer exclusive programs featuring relay events and timed pit crew challenges.
Reserving a corporate package also guarantees private track time in a fully climate-controlled facility. This means your staff only competes against each other.
Afterward, you can celebrate the winners with a ceremony and enjoy a catered meal on-site. If your group likes puzzles, they might also enjoy local escape rooms to cool down after racing.
Just keep in mind that you need at least eight racers to book a package. Plus, strict height requirements will unfortunately exclude shorter participants from joining the high-speed track activities.

You even get a cinematic highlight reel afterward to share in the office breakroom. Try stopping by some of the nearby candy stores to grab some treats for the ride home.
Just keep in mind that you must wear 20 pounds of equipment for 30 minutes. You also need to be on time, because their strict late policy will quickly cut your mission short.

We had such a blast
Hands down the best VR experience I’ve ever had! Kristen and the entire team were incredibly kind and made the whole visit feel next level. We did the Deadwood Phobia game—yes, there were a few jump scares, but honestly, our group spent more time laughing than screaming. It’s such a fun and affordable activity, especially for a rainy day with friends when you want to try something new. We had such a blast, we immediately booked the Squid Games experience for today!

This was our first time coming and we had so much fun!! Aline was the person helping us and she was very patient, extremely helpful, animated and fun. She also asks for pronouns before she talks to you which is always much appreciated.

5. Cielo Vista Team Challenge

Website: http://cvteamchallenge.com/
Address: 21285 Cielo Vista Dr
Contact: (210) 247-7330 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday – Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Cielo Vista Team Challenge stands out because of its “Challenge by Choice” philosophy. This means everyone can participate at a level that feels comfortable for them without feeling pushed too far.
Unlike a typical amusement park, the activities in this massive 10-acre site are designed to help you think deeply about how you work with others. Every physical task is meant to teach lessons that you can take back to your office or workplace.
I recently attended a retreat here, and the professional guides were excellent. They started our group with ground-based problem-solving games before moving us up to the 50-foot high ropes course.
However, this place is in a remote, natural area, there are only portable toilets.
Also, the zipline has a specific weight limit of 70–250 lbs. This means some team members might need to stick to other high-altitude activities, where safety depends on harness fit rather than a weight scale.
Customer Reviews:
