Find hope with the 5 best IVF clinics in San Antonio

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Clinical Experience: We evaluated the historical success and tenure of the medical staff at each facility. Centers with decades of operational history provide a reassuring level of stability.

Treatment Transparency: We looked closely at how openly these facilities discuss their pricing structures and success rates. Clear communication about potential expenses helps families plan their finances without unexpected surprises.

Technological Advancements: We prioritized clinics that use modern laboratory security and advanced genetic screening tools. These technological investments often lead to safer procedures and higher implantation success rates.

Patient Support Services: We assessed the availability of emotional counseling and dedicated financial advisors. Navigating fertility treatments requires holistic care that extends far beyond standard medical procedures.

Starting a family is deeply personal, and fertility challenges can feel overwhelming. It can be really isolating to watch some friends get pregnant so easily while you’re struggling quietly.

That’s why finding the right medical support matters so much when you’re considering In Vitro Fertilization, or IVF.

Whether you’re part of a couple trying to conceive or someone taking a proactive approach to fertility care, having a compassionate team can make a real difference.

To make this emotional process a little easier to navigate, I explored the options to find the best IVF care in San Antonio. Here are the standout options in the city.

How much does IVF cost in San Antonio?

IVF treatments in San Antonio can cost $12,000 to $30,000 per cycle, depending on the specific medications and procedures you need.

Contact: (800) 708-1869 | (210) 972-5175

Hours: Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Operating in the area since 1988, Fertility Center of San Antonio offers decades of experience in reproductive medicine. They also have an impressive track record of helping bring over 5,000 babies into the world.

Every physician on their staff holds dual board certifications in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI), providing patients with an incredibly high level of specialized care.

The clinic also reports success rates higher than the national average, which can be a real comfort when the journey feels emotional or uncertain.

Plus, with on-site embryology and andrology labs, your embryos are closely monitored. Many expecting parents we spoke with shared that this really helped give them peace of mind.

They also offer focused support for male fertility, so care feels more complete and well-rounded.

However, coordinating appointments with their scheduling staff can be difficult, especially when you’re trying to move quickly between test results and next steps.

Pros

  • On-site embryology and andrology labs
  • Advanced preimplantation genetic screening
  • Personalized treatment protocols
  • Comprehensive male fertility support

Cons

  • Coordinating with scheduling staff can be difficult

I’ve had great experiences at Fertility Center of SA!
I’ve had great experiences at Fertility Center of SA! The front office ladies are always very friendly and helpful in answering any questions about insurance, scheduling, or payments and Dr. Retzloff has provided excellent care. I always feel well taken care of at my appointments and the doctors do a great job of explaining everything and answering all of my questions.

All of the ladies in the front office are amazing

2. Aspire Fertility Stone Oak

aspire-fertility-stone-oak

Website: https://www.aspirefertility.com/

Address: 150 E Sonterra Blvd #220

Contact: (210) 337-8453

Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Built by individuals who navigated their own reproductive struggles, Aspire Fertility Stone Oak has a patient-founded approach to create a genuinely less stressful clinical environment.

Instead of treating important steps like Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection and delayed embryo transfer as optional extras, they include them as part of their standard care.

A close friend of mine recently completed her cycle here. She said having a dedicated counselor and financial advisor from the very beginning made the process feel far more manageable.

On top of that, the clinic uses Radio Frequency Identification tags in the lab to help ensure samples are matched correctly. Their bundled pricing also helps patients avoid the surprise fees that are common at some other clinics.

That said, one drawback is that phone lines can get busy, so reaching staff directly for quick questions sometimes takes a few tries.

Pros

  • Comprehensive on-site care team
  • Transparent bundled pricing model
  • Integrated emotional wellness counseling
  • Multiple convenient clinical locations

Cons

  • Difficulties reaching staff by phone

Customer Reviews:

I love this place
I love this place. They are very caring and the sweetest. The best IVF & Iui clinic you can go to. We have gone to many in Southern California & in San Antonio! And we would totally recommend Aspire by far. There uncompareable, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave! It’s the people that make this place phenomenal. And I have friends that have had there babies with different doctors here and they too highly recommend Aspire. My doctor is Knudtson, and she is amazing.

Everyone was very nice and professional
We traveled to San Antonio and had our initial consultation at the Alamo Heights location and loved it. Everyone was very nice and professional and made us feel welcomed and comfortable which helped a lot since we were very nervous and did not know what to expect.

3. Pozitivf Fertility

Website: https://pozitivf.com/about-us/san-antonio/

Address: 4515 N Loop 1604 W, Suite 301

Contact: (210) 404-BABY (2229)

Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Founded by a former Chief Medical Officer of a major national network, Pozitivf Fertility uses a lean efficiency model to strip away redundant tests and speed up your overall journey.

One thing that stands out right away is their price transparency. They clearly list their packages online, and in many cases, the costs are thousands lower than what other local clinics charge.

To support patients beyond the medical side, the clinic also includes fertility coaching sessions in its packages, which can be helpful during such an emotional experience.

It also helps that the facility offers free initial consultations to help you gather expert advice without paying a high office fee upfront.

However, one tradeoff is that they keep a smaller physical footprint than some competitors, so you may have fewer nearby office options depending on where you live in the city.

Pros

  • Significant care cost savings
  • Free initial clinical consultations
  • Comprehensive bundled care packages
  • Highly experienced medical staff

Cons

  • Limited physical office locations

Customer Reviews:

I’m so happy to choose this place!
Dr Paco and his entire staff are truly amazing. From our first meeting Dr. Paco took the time to explain with details and examples all our options and gave us clear expectations for each path.

It took us three tries, but the last one finally brought us our beautiful baby girl. I was naturally nervous and overwhelmed with emotions almost all the time, but after every appointment, the staff were supportive and cheerful that gave me hope and I feel better. I couldn’t be more grateful and I’m so happy to choose this place!

Pricing was clear & up front
Pozitivf Fertility helped us become parents! After years of infertility & treatment else where, we made the move to Pozitivf. Pricing was clear & up front. Every single person there was friendly & super encouraging! We felt completely supported throughout our entire journey! Thanks to Dr. Gallagher & our team, we graduated from the clinic in December 2024 & welcomed a healthy baby Girl in July! We look forward to working with Pozitivf Fertility again when we are ready for baby # 2!

4. Texas Fertility Center – San Antonio

texas-fertility-center-san-antonio

Website: http://www.fertilitysanantonio.com/

Address: 18707 Hardy Oak Blvd #505

Contact: (210) 370-3800

Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Helping to welcome over 25,000 babies since 1980, Texas Fertility Center – San Antonio brings a strong track record and an experienced leadership team to your reproductive journey.

Their lab directors actually serve as inspectors for the College of American Pathologists (CAP), meaning they set the rigorous standards other facilities across the country follow.

When we spoke with a former patient about her experience, she highlighted how convenient it was to have a full-service laboratory and surgical suite located in the same building.

They also use an advanced tracking system to make sure every sample is matched correctly at each stage.

Just as you might carefully research a neck lift clinic for safety, choosing a clinic with Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) on-site brings real peace of mind.

That said, because they run such a thorough, all-in-one program, expect an intense schedule of daily injections and frequent check-ins that can be tough to fit around work.

Pros

  • State-of-the-art laboratory partnership
  • Broad patient demographic reach
  • Extensive combined specialist experience
  • Advanced in-house genetic screening

Cons

  • Intense daily treatment schedule

5. Ovation Fertility San Antonio

ovation-fertility-san-antonio

Website: https://www.ovationfertility.com/

Address: 18707 Hardy Oak Blvd #511

Contact: (210) 858-3360

Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Operating as a national scientific brain trust, Ovation Fertility San Antonio shares data across a collaborative network of experts to constantly elevate their clinical standards.

They use artificial intelligence to help embryologists select the highest quality embryos for transfer, providing a level of precision that goes beyond the human eye.

Their protocols are also heavily research-driven, meaning the methods used in their facilities are based on breakthrough science rather than older standard practices.

Every location in their network is led by a High Complexity Lab Director (HCLD), ensuring elite oversight for your growing family. They also use secure electronic tracking to verify patient identities and reduce sample handling errors.

That said, a notable downside is that you typically must be a patient of one of their specific partner physician practices to access their laboratory technology.

Pros

  • Elite laboratory accreditation credentials
  • Leading-edge technological infrastructure
  • Specialized treatment financing partnerships
  • Standardized evidence-based care protocols

Cons

  • Partner-dependent access restrictions
