Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM–8 PM; Saturday, 9 AM–6 PM

Dealing with a damaged wall can be incredibly frustrating, especially when you’re worried about the new patch matching the old texture.

Founded by Antonio Garcia, Antonio Drywall Repair & Texture tackles this issue by combining detailed plastering techniques with seamless painting integration for complete wall restorations.

This team excels at replicating complex surface patterns so that the repaired section is virtually indistinguishable from the rest of the room.

When my neighbor hired them for a recent living room update, I saw firsthand how effectively they contained the dust and kept the work area immaculate.

While their attention to detail is highly impressive, their popularity means you might face longer scheduling delays during peak home renovation seasons.

Nonetheless, if you need a team that can execute comprehensive surface preparation before applying a final coat of paint, they’re an incredibly reliable choice.

Pros

  • Accurate matching of complex wall textures
  • Strict site cleanliness and dust containment
  • Thorough surface preparation before painting
  • Handles projects from large rooms to minor holes

Cons

  • Longer wait times during peak seasons
  • High demand limits immediate availability

2. Maveca Drywall LLC

maveca-drywall-llc

Website: https://www.mavecadrywall.com/

Address: 18203 Rim Drive 101 #1056

Contact: (210) 758-1037, [email protected]

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM–4 PM; Saturday, 9 AM–3 PM

Taking on a major room addition requires a contractor who understands the backbone of your walls. Maveca Drywall focuses on robust structural framing paired with high-quality sheetrock finishing, making them well-suited for large-scale installations.

They’re particularly adept at handling extensive new construction framing and managing the heavy lifting required for thick boarding. Plus, their teams are fully equipped to safely tackle difficult-to-reach areas and high ceilings.

Moreover, because they use durable materials meant to resist structural shifting, the resulting walls are less prone to cracking over time.

However, their strong emphasis on major installations and extensive renovations means they are generally less ideal if you only need a minor, single-hole patch job.

For property owners planning a substantial remodel, though, this team provides the necessary structural support and efficient turnaround times required for extensive square footage.

Pros

  • Expert in new construction wall framing
  • Efficient turnaround for large square footage
  • Uses durable building materials
  • Equipped for high-ceiling and difficult installations

Cons

  • Less suited for minor hole patching
  • Prioritizes larger renovation projects

True masters of their craft

Without a doubt, the best tape, float and texture job I have ever seen! Mr. Sergio was extremely responsive in his communication via both text and calls and his pricing was upfront and fair. On the the start day, he showed up early to prep the space and his guys showed up on time. The entire job was completed within one day and again, was an absolutely fantastic finish out. True masters of their craft! Will definitely be using Maveca Drywall for all our future drywall needs.

Job well done

Sergio and his team are great! We had significant amount of new drywall along with repairs that needed to be done. They made the process easy and painless. Pricing was also fair and they went above and beyond, with even planning ahead to come back a few days later to touch up any additional areas we needed.

A big thank you for a job well done!

Areas Served: San Antonio

Contact: 210-910-6510

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM–6 PM

Sometimes you just need a quick fix after a plumber or electrician leaves a gaping hole in your living room ceiling.

Operating as local repair specialists, The Patch Boys focuses on rapid fixes for minor damage and ceiling restorations, with efficient same-day turnarounds. To do this, they use a streamlined process to repair most minor damage quickly.

I actually contacted them last year to fix a small ceiling leak disaster, and they skillfully blended the new patch into my existing popcorn ceiling within just a few hours.

They’re highly respectful of the home environment, consistently laying down heavy drop cloths to protect furniture and floors.

The obvious drawback is that they strictly handle isolated damage; they don’t take on full-scale framing or whole-house installations.

Pros

  • Seamless blending into popcorn or smooth ceilings
  • Fast response times for utility damage holes
  • Protects floors and furniture with heavy drop cloths
  • Completes most minor damages in a single day

Cons

  • Does not handle whole-house installations
  • Strictly limited to localized repair work

Customer Reviews:

Job was done right

Edson did a great job remediating a 3’x2’ damaged drywall area in my garage.  Perfect match on the texture and no signs of a repair or seams.  Job was done right the first time, tech arrived on time and he thoroughly cleaned up the area before he left.  Edson is the guy I will ask for in the future.

Joshua did an amazing job with our drywall repair!

The results look fantastic

He went above and beyond to make sure the repair was seamless and invisible to the eye. He carefully patched around recent work from our electrician that installed two sconces over our 100-year-old fireplace, and the results look fantastic.

Address: 6711 King Louis Dr

Contact: (210) 446-5862, [email protected]

Finding a company that seamlessly transitions between interior fixes and exterior touch-ups is surprisingly difficult. Thankfully, JC Paint and More is here.

Offering a versatile combination of surface patching, structural finishing, and precise color matching, this crew excels at restoring battered walls to a pristine, move-in-ready state.

They’re a great option if you’re planning a comprehensive update, such as a basement renovation in San Antonio, as they handle rigorous sanding and mudding to guarantee a smooth base.

Furthermore, their flexible service accommodations work beautifully for both residential touch-ups and commercial face-lifts. They even manage the visual transitions between newly repaired sheetrock sections and older walls remarkably well.

On the downside, since they operate as a broader remodeling contractor, highly specialized or intricate custom plaster designs might fall slightly outside their primary scope of expertise.

Pros

  • Seamless visual transitions on repaired sections
  • Handles interior patching and exterior finishing
  • Meticulous prep work including rigorous sanding
  • Flexible for residential and commercial spaces

Cons

  • Custom plaster designs fall outside primary scope
  • Broad remodeling focus limits highly niche artistry

Customer Reviews:

Very impressed with the quality of work

I had JC Paint repair and texture drywall in four areas of my home and was very impressed with the quality of work. As someone who manages a trade crew myself, I pay close attention to craftsmanship. Augustine and Lawrence were professional, efficient, and did an excellent job matching texture and paint. Very satisfied and will definitely use them again.

Great professional work

I called JC Paint to have some ceiling drywall damage repaired in our breakfast area . John answered the phone right away and gave us a reasonable quote over  the phone minutes later after I texted a photo of the damage. Augustin came the next day and completed the repair after a couple of hours. We had the full ceiling repainted to perfection. It looks like a new ceiling! Great professional work at a reasonable price!

Ensuring that your wall seams remain completely invisible requires a highly disciplined approach to taping and mudding.

Under the leadership of Ivan C Sanchez, Fix It Dry Wall focuses on dependable, structural wall restorations and highly precise joint taping to ensure long-lasting durability.

They’re particularly great at reinforcing structural weak spots to prevent stress cracks from developing later on. They also comfortably handle everything from minor impact dents to large section replacements.

Much like the careful foundation work done by reputable concrete contractors in San Antonio, this crew rigorously adheres to safety guidelines and local building codes during their structural repairs.

However, their heavy emphasis on utilitarian and structural repairs means they are not the ideal choice if you’re seeking highly decorative, artistic wall finishes for your living space.

Pros

  • Reinforces structural weak spots to prevent cracks
  • Precise mudding techniques for invisible seams
  • Capable of minor dents and large replacements
  • Strict adherence to local building codes

Cons

  • Focuses heavily on utilitarian repairs
  • Not ideal for highly decorative wall finishes
