The place was absolutely fantastic

What a great experience for my first time attending a hot yoga session! The place was absolutely fantastic and perfect environment for a yoga session. Instructor was incredible in targeting all movements and moves at a great pace! Will be going back again!

Always challenging but very satisfying

Amazing teachers, solid technique, beautiful building, clean facility, & friendly people. I’ve been practicing yoga since 2008, and this place is my favorite to practice yoga at. Their heated room is a perfect fit, always challenging but very satisfying. I adore this place. I admire the owner who is a hard working woman! Please go and try out this place! So affordable and the best in town.

Breaking through a physical plateau often requires mixing up your routine with targeted movements. YogaSix Stone Oak provides a modern experience with six different class types designed for specific results.

These options range from hot workouts to recovery sessions.

We recently tried their Sculpt and Flow class, which combines HIIT, dumbbell exercises, and yoga poses. After the session, our muscles were burning in the best way possible.

Every instructor uses a standardized method so the instructions are always easy to follow. The facility is also very clean and has great amenities which helps you freshen up before heading back to work.

Since this is a structured franchise, the focus is mainly on fitness. This means it lacks the spiritual elements found in traditional yoga, but it is great for a results-driven workout.

Pros

  • Comprehensive range of class modalities
  • Innovative cross-training with fitness props
  • Standardized and clear instructor methodology
  • Premium and impeccably clean facility amenities

Cons

  • Lacks traditional spiritual elements

With over sixty classes scheduled every week from dawn until dusk, it is very easy to fit a workout into your unpredictable work schedule. This location honestly rivals specialized Pilates studios and keeps everything under one roof.

Many members also love the flexibility offered by heated rooms and the option of virtual classes when they need to stay home.

Just keep in mind that their signature ninety-minute Bikram series is a huge physical commitment in high heat. This intensity can quickly exhaust beginners, so it’s important to know your limits before you start.

Pros

  • Extensive weekly class schedule
  • Convenient blended fitness offerings
  • Robust virtual class integration
  • Deep muscular flexibility focus

Cons

  • Demanding a 90-minute time commitment
  • Exhausting for absolute beginners

Customer Reviews:

Their instructors are amazin

I love The Union!!! Their instructors are amazing and it’s such a warm and welcoming community. I feel right at home there. Yoga in the heated room is magic for my muscles and joints. Strongly recommend!

The community is the best on earth!

The Union instructors and the community are the best on earth!  We go because we believe hot yoga is keeping our minds, hearts, organs and entire bodies feeling and functioning as though we are younger than the day we joined. (18 years of attending The Union for our longest-tenured family member).

Deepening your yoga practice requires help from instructors who really know their stuff. Yoga Shala of San Antonio has been around since 2008 and focuses on authentic Ashtanga traditions.

Their Mysore program is excellent for those who want to grow. You can skip the personal trainer and follow their clear progression system to advance your skills at your own pace.

The facility maintains a quiet and respectful environment by asking students to follow a strict meditative etiquette. This helps you stay focused on your breath and movement.

If you travel often, you can also use their virtual membership to stay on track.

Just keep in mind that these classes follow a set pattern of poses. This might feel repetitive if you prefer a different flow each time you visit.

Pros

  • Highly structured progression system
  • Authentic Ashtanga lineage focus
  • Convenient virtual membership access
  • Respectful and meditative studio etiquette

Cons

  • Rigid and repetitive daily sequences

Customer Reviews:

I found my yoga place

Just moved from Honolulu, HI and tried this shala and the Ashtanga yoga.  I liked it!  I like the ambiance, the teacher (Christy), the studio, the half series Ashtanga class, the hands on modifications, and the special initial/first class pass.  I plan to return to practice the primary series on a regular basis. I found my yoga place. Mahalo!

This place is a gem 💎

Beautiful yogis & beautiful shala 🩷 Whether you want to deepen your Ashtanga practice or just try out yoga for the first time, you will be guided with compassion and knowledge. They also host other well-known teachers for weekend workshops, I joined for a weekend with Kino and will be back for David Swenson workshops. I wish the shala was closer to where I live 😉 this place is a gem 💎

5. House of RhythOM

house-of-rhythom

Website: https://houseofrhythom.com/

Address: 7302 Louis Pasteur Drive, Ste 105

Contact: (210) 902-8337

Hours:

  • Monday – Tuesday, Thursday – Friday: 5:30 AM–10:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Saturday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Sunday: 8:30 AM – 9:30 PM

Stepping away from a busy workday and into a peaceful sanctuary is so important for your mental health. House of RhythOM offers a special escape by combining great music with soothing infrared heat to create a deeply soulful practice.

One of my friends spends a lot of time here and loves how the infrared technology helps relax tight muscles without making the room feel stuffy.

In these classes, you move right along to the beat of the music, which helps you focus on your breathing. They also offer great options like Somatic Breathwork and support for expectant mothers.

Just be aware that the atmosphere includes loud music and dim lights. This could be overstimulating for people who prefer a very quiet or traditional meditation space.

Pros

  • Advanced infrared heating technology
  • Rhythmic movement synchronization
  • Specialized nervous system recovery
  • Dedicated prenatal support classes

Cons

  • High-sensory, dimly lit environment
  • Loud and thumping musical playlists

Customer Reviews:

This place is warm and inviting.

I attended a yoga session (one time as I am from out of town). This place is warm and inviting. The instructors are knowledgeable & concerned with individual needs as I noticed during the session. Open questions and concerns. 🙏🏼 …

I truly enjoy the classes here.

I LOVE this studio!  I am returning to yoga (after awhile with no practice) and I truly enjoy the classes here. The studio has a wonderful, calming feel to it. I feel completely welcome here!  They offer a good variety of classes and some workshop-type events too. An overall great place to go  🙂
