The 5 Best Furnished Apartments in San Antonio for Extended Stays

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Lease Flexibility: We looked at how easily you can adjust your stay to match unpredictable work schedules. Properties with adaptable lease terms scored much higher on our list.

Included Amenities: We checked if the apartments offer living essentials like high-speed wireless internet, equipped kitchens, and on-site conveniences. Having those features ready from day one makes a long stay much more comfortable.

Location Convenience: We evaluated how practical each option feels in relation to downtown attractions, business districts, and military bases. A strong location helps cut down commute time and makes everyday errands easier.

Physical Upkeep: We assessed the cleanliness and routine maintenance of both the units and the shared community spaces. Reliable upkeep matters when you’re staying long enough for small issues to become daily annoyances.

Finding the best furnished apartment in San Antonio can feel overwhelming when you need somewhere comfortable right away.

I know how stressful it is to juggle moving plans, work deadlines, or a military assignment while also trying to avoid buying furniture you may only use for a few months.

That’s why I looked for places and housing services that make extended stays easier, from all-inclusive corporate setups to apartment communities with practical amenities.

This guide should help you compare the options that feel livable, flexible, and worth the monthly cost.

How much does renting a furnished apartment cost in San Antonio?

Most furnished apartments in San Antonio cost about $950 to $2,500+ per month for base rent, with mandatory service fees often adding $150 to $300.

Cost CategoryEstimated Monthly Amount
Base Rent$950 – $2,500+
Mandatory Service Fees (Utilities & Amenities)$150 – $300

Address: 106 E Old Settlers Blvd Bldg D, Ste 108, Round Rock

Contact: (512) 953-1160 | [email protected]

Getting free corporate housing search and placement help can take a lot off your plate when a move is already hectic.

What I like here is that the team leans on real estate experience to match relocating professionals with furnished, move-in-ready options that fit practical needs instead of giving generic suggestions.

They also focus on units near key parts of the city, which can make a long work assignment much easier to manage.

The tradeoff is that tours can take more effort because the options are spread across different properties, so seeing several in one day may mean a lot of driving.

Their hours are also limited to weekdays, which may be inconvenient if you work standard office hours.

Pros

  • Completely free housing search and placement services
  • Backed by extensive real estate experience
  • Access to units near prime San Antonio locations
  • Tailored housing searches based on specific needs

Cons

  • Tours may require driving to multiple properties
  • Weekday-only office hours

Took Care Of Everything

Have had a fantastic experience working with the Apartment & Relocation Center.  I took a new job with a company in June, that was going to require a quick start.   In short order, I was put in touch with Caroline and she took care of everything.   She got me set up with a fully furnished apartment that has been exactly what I needed.  I have very much appreciated her responsiveness and her customer service…a lost art in many businesses today!   I would definitely recommend using Caroline and the team

Pleasure To Work With

Brenda was a pleasure to work with. She took the time to learn about what we were looking for in an apartment and came back with several options within our budget. She was able to help us find the perfect place on short notice. She had lots of knowledge about different areas, and all the different apartment communities. Brenda has very good rapport with the property managers as well. I highly recommend using this service for everyone looking for an apartment in San Antonio!

2. Mouse House Rentals

Areas Served: San Antonio, TX

Contact: [email protected]

Hours: Available 24/7

Mouse House Rentals feels more like a comfortable home base than a standard apartment complex, which is helpful if you want a stay that already feels settled.

I like that the homes come with full kitchens and high-speed wireless internet (Wi-Fi) for longer stays. A friend who stayed at one of their properties loved having a fenced backyard and a private hot tub after long workdays.

I also appreciate that they use professional cleaning staff between guests, which adds peace of mind and saves you from lining up your own house cleaning in San Antonio.

The downtown locations put you within walking distance of big draws like the River Walk. But the main drawback is parking. Some homes have limited private spots, so extra vehicles may need to rely on street parking.

Pros

  • Fully equipped kitchens and high-speed Wi-Fi
  • Great outdoor amenities at select properties
  • Professional cleaning between stays
  • Short walk to major downtown sights

Cons

  • Limited dedicated private parking

3. Alamo Corporate Housing

Website: https://www.alamocorporatehousing.com/

Address: 19141 Stone Oak Pkwy #104

Contact: (866) 224-4200

Hours: Available 24/7

Alamo Corporate Housing stands out if you want the simplest possible monthly setup.

I appreciate that utilities and high-speed wireless internet are bundled into the rate, because that makes budgeting easier and cuts down on the number of moving parts during an extended stay.

Their flexible lease terms are another plus for people dealing with shifting assignments, travel schedules, or short-notice changes.

Residents here get access to fitness and wellness amenities, and the 24/7 support adds reassurance if something comes up after hours.

The catch is price. These furnished packages sit on the premium side, so the upfront cost can feel steep compared with a standard apartment lease. It makes the most sense if convenience matters more to you than finding the lowest monthly rate.

Pros

  • All-inclusive setup with utilities and internet
  • Modern fitness and wellness amenities
  • Flexible lease terms
  • Dedicated customer support

Cons

  • Higher upfront cost than standard rentals

Nicely Furnished

Alamo Corporate Housing made my 4.5-month stay for the Army CCEN course so easy. The process of getting the keys and moving in was smooth, the apartment was nicely furnished, and everything was ready to go. Coleen and Scott were incredibly friendly and attentive — they went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable the entire time. Truly the best housing experience I’ve had, and I’d recommend them to anyone!

Positive Attitude

I had a wonderful experience with Alamo corporate! They furnished my apartment with everything I could need and Colleen was amazing! Anytime I needed help she assisted me promptly and with a positive attitude! Thank you!

4. Marquis at The RIM

marquis-at-the-rim

Website: https://www.marquisattherim.com/

Address: 16631 Vance Jackson Road

Contact: 866-642-8314

Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Sunday, Closed

Marquis at The RIM feels closer to a full apartment community than a temporary crash pad, which works well if you want an extended stay that still feels residential.

The open floor plans, granite countertops, and in-unit washer and dryer setup make day-to-day living easier, and I also appreciate the valet trash service for when you’re busy.

During a past short-term stay, I found the large windows especially great. They made the unit feel less boxed in, even before adding extra blinds in San Antonio.

The location near The Rim is another plus if you want shops and restaurants nearby.

The downside is that this is a large complex, so shared spaces can get busy. The pool, in particular, may feel crowded on weekends if you prefer a quieter atmosphere.

Pros

  • Premium interior finishes, including granite counters
  • In-unit full-size washer and dryer
  • Strong outdoor and fitness amenities
  • Valet trash service

Cons

  • Shared amenities can feel crowded

Polite and Efficient

No apartment complex is perfect but for us this one has been pretty close. Anytime we’ve had issues the staff has always been polite and efficient, especially Art. We love the location, close enough to walk to shops and restaurants at The Rim, and only 18 minutes from the airport or downtown San Antonio.

Very Convenient

I have been living here for around 6 months and things have been great. I haven’t had an issues with the apartment or the staff. The location is also very convenient. My only complaint would be that it seems that every month they send out emails with a new reason to go into our apartments. I understand they have to do routine maintenance and check on things from time to time but it often feels intrusive. All things said I am happy to be living here at the end of the day.

5. Eleven West

eleven-west

Website: https://www.elevenwestapartments.com/

Address: 12136 US Highway 90

Contact: +1 844-321-4964

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Sunday, Closed

Eleven West leans more modern than many apartment communities I looked at, so it makes sense for renters who want newer features baked into their stay.

The furnished units include Nest smart-home controls, and the 24-hour fitness center helps if you want to keep a routine without leaving the property.

I’m also a fan of how pet-friendly the community is, especially for anyone bringing a dog or cat along for a longer assignment.

Another strong point is maintenance. Residents regularly mention quick responses when something needs attention, which matters a lot in a furnished place where you want everything working from day one.

The drawback is upkeep in some shared areas. A few residents mention breezeways with lingering cobwebs, so the common spaces may not always feel as polished as the units themselves.

Pros

  • Expansive zero-depth swimming pool
  • Units with modern Nest technology
  • Very pet-friendly community
  • Prompt maintenance responses

Cons

  • Some shared spaces need better upkeep

Everything Was Smooth

I had an amazing experience from start to finish! From the application process to move in day! Everything was smooth! Mandie, Gabby and Dee have made me feel welcomed and are the best! I can’t thank Dee enough for her kindness! My apartment was nice, modern with stainless steel appliances, and great WiFi! It was a must for me since I WFH. The complex is quiet, clean and kept. Maintenance staff is also super friendly, respectful and came to fix any issues quickly! I loved how affordable and beautiful the place is, especially the pool!

Beautiful and Peaceful

Great service. Gabby was excellent and was able to answer every question and provide all necessary information quickly. Everyone else in the leasing office was superb, never felt rushed or pressured. They were even willing to work with me after their office hours which was really nice of them. Apartment and its amenities are top of the line and modern. Makes life easier which every feature. Pool and gym areas are beautiful and peaceful. Never felt unsafe in the area or around. 10/10 definitely recommend
