The Best Wedding Planners in San Antonio

best-wedding-planner-san-antonio
We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.
  • Service Comprehensiveness: I looked at how many logistical aspects each team actually handles from start to finish. Firms offering a cohesive mix of comprehensive coordination and floral design scored much higher.
  •
  • Pricing Transparency: Finding clear cost information upfront saves everyone a massive amount of time. I prioritized businesses that clearly state their baseline rates rather than making you jump through hoops just to get an estimate.
  •
  • Local Expertise: Navigating specific loading zones and vendor restrictions at popular wedding venues across the city requires insider knowledge. Planners with deep roots in the Texas Hill Country bring invaluable boots-on-the-ground experience.
  •
  • Crisis Management Skills: A beautiful design means nothing if the team falls apart when the weather changes or a vendor runs late. I evaluated how these coordinators handle unexpected emergencies behind the scenes to keep the couple stress-free.

Planning a Texas wedding is an absolute dream, but pulling together the logistics can quickly feel like a full-time job.

I know firsthand how overwhelming it gets trying to coordinate caterers and florists. That’s exactly why I set out to find the best wedding planners in San Antonio. I want to help you skip the stress and focus on celebrating your big day with the people you love.

What’s more, we also have a list of the top wedding venues in the area so you can hold your big day in a stunning setting.

1. Sweet Gardenia Weddings

Address: 10530 Starcrest Dr, San Antonio, TX 78217

Contact: (210) 954-5780 / [email protected]

Hours: Available 24/7

Creating a cohesive aesthetic is effortless with Sweet Gardenia Weddings, as they bring expert coordination and an award-winning in-house floral design. Their approach goes far beyond generic trends by rooting the entire visual rhythm in your personal love story.

When I attended a recent reception they organized, I was immediately struck by how seamlessly the table settings mirrored the couple’s distinct background.

Instead of the typical month-of timeline, their coordination actually kicks off a full twelve weeks before you walk down the aisle. This extended preparation gives them plenty of runway to handle any final vendor hiccups or timeline adjustments.

The only real downside is their premium entry-level pricing, which might stretch the wallets of those strictly looking for budget-friendly assistance. With basic coordination starting at $2,500, this might not be the right fit if you just need a few hours of basic oversight.

Pros

  • Integrated floral design and planning
  • Reputable third-party industry validation
  • 12-week early coordination start
  • Personalized online collaboration portal

Cons

  • High entry-level coordination costs
  • Geared toward high-end floral budgets

Stephanie was absolutely amazing and took care of everything which allowed me to enjoy my day! She is a true asset and will help and take charge in every way to make sure things run smoothly and everyone has a memorable and fun time! I would totally recommend her services, she is incredible!

Stephanie was so great to work with. I was a very anxious bride and Stephanie helped ease my worries throughout the planning process. I cannot imagine what our wedding day would have been like without her- she worked hard to make everything go very smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about a thing and were able to truly enjoy our special day. I definitely recommend working with her!

2. JC Events

Website: http://www.eventsbyjennifercraft.com/

Address: 14855 Blanco Rd #307, San Antonio, TX 78216

Contact: (210) 643-7133 / [email protected]

Hours: Tuesday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Managing a cohesive aesthetic becomes incredibly simple when your coordinator also handles custom decor directly, which is exactly why JC Events manages both planning and in-house floral design. This dual capability ensures your vision never gets lost in translation between separate vendors.

Another huge relief is their policy of unlimited communication across all their tiers, meaning you will never feel hesitant to reach out with a quick question about seating arrangements.

The leadership dynamic here is especially effective, combining certified event expertise with heavy-duty corporate business development skills. They craft every detail with specific intention, ensuring the day reflects your personality rather than feeling like a copy-paste template.

However, you should note that their entry-level package requires a strict 60-day minimum lead time. This operational requirement completely rules them out if you’re simply hunting for last-minute help or standalone day-of management.

Pros

  • All-inclusive multi-service capabilities
  • Certified professional leadership team
  • Built-in staff redundancy
  • Clearly structured planning tiers

Cons

  • Premium starting price floor
  • Minimum 60-day involvement required

Customer Reviews

Jennifer is incredible. The amount of care she put into my wedding was more than I can express. The morning of my wedding I was so calm knowing if there were any issues Jen would take care of them before anyone even noticed. Her knowledge of the industry and florals was pivotal in my wedding planning experience.

Jennifer is worth her weight in gold! She is detail oriented, extremely connected and a bride/family advocate. If you have a wedding coming up, do yourself a favor, hire Jennifer first, then make the rest of your decisions. Her experience and kindness will guide you to just what you hoped for. My only regrets are decisions I made without her. Her florals were amazing and no need for an additional vendor!

3. All In The Details Events

Website: http://allinthedetails.events/

Address: 1945 Lockhill Selma Rd Suite 205, San Antonio, TX 78213

Contact: (210) 865-6150 / [email protected]

Hours: Hours may vary

Prioritizing a relationship-first approach, All In The Details Events focuses heavily on building a genuine emotional connection so your planning journey feels meaningful rather than transactional. They design everything around the specific guest experience, crafting an intentional aesthetic that leaves a lasting impression on everyone attending.

You can even elevate the visual impact using their curated collection of bespoke boutique rentals and custom conceptual props.

One standout feature is their comprehensive post-event wrap-up support. They actually stay behind to settle final invoices and return rented clothing, so you can head straight to your honeymoon without worrying about loose ends.

Just keep in mind that they explicitly refuse to offer day-of coordination, insisting on being involved at least 45 days out. This philosophy is great for thoroughness but will frustrate do-it-yourselfers who just need someone to manage the final twenty-four hours.

Pros

  • Over two decades of experience
  • Extensive post-event logistical support
  • In-house boutique rental collection
  • Broad corporate and non-profit background

Cons

  • Strictly no day-of coordination
  • Higher baseline starting costs

Customer Reviews

As a local wedding photographer, I’ve been lucky enough to work with most of these wonderful ladies at multiple weddings. They are professional, kind, on top of things and always work diligently to ensure their couples have a the best night of their lives! All of the couples I have worked with that hired All in the Details have been so very happy. Not only are they great with their clients but they do a fantastic job of communicating with vendors as well. It’s always a pleasure working with this awesome team!

Oanh was AMAZING with my sisters wedding. She advocated for the bride and made sure the bride and groom had their day exactly as planned. She did so good with the walk for the bridesmaids and groomsman, made sure the couples walk out was planned and announced accordingly, had the dinner/ speeches/ etc all on schedule and did so good with making sure it went perfectly. I could not have asked for a better planned for my sisters wedding. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone who needed a planner

4. Wedding Whisperer

Website: http://www.wedding-whisperer.com/

Address: 821 Evans Rd, San Antonio, TX 78258

Contact: (210) 802-7905 / [email protected]

Hours: Monday to Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Handling city-specific logistics across multiple major Texas hubs is second nature to Wedding Whisperer, making them a fantastic choice whether you want a waterfront celebration or a massive multicultural gathering.

They’re highly praised for their invisible crisis management, silently fixing broken bustles and timeline delays so the couple remains completely unaware of any behind-the-scenes drama. When a close friend used their services last spring, I watched the team flawlessly coordinate the arrival of treats from local cake shops while simultaneously managing a sudden rain delay.

Beyond just keeping the day running smoothly, they bring a unique approach thanks to several team members having backgrounds in ministry and counseling. They even capture highlight video reels on their phones so you can share the magic immediately.

However, one frustrating aspect is their multi-step pricing access. You have to click through several city-specific pages just to find baseline estimates, and those rates often fluctuate based on travel surcharges.

Pros

  • Deep local venue knowledge
  • Excellent hands-on crisis management
  • Complementary social media content creation
  • Budget-conscious aesthetic planning

Cons

  • Complicated online pricing navigation
  • Variable regional travel surcharges

5. Bluebonnet Events

bluebonnet-events

Website: http://www.bluebonnetevents.com/

Address: 5702 Spanish Flat, San Antonio, TX 78222

Contact: (210) 255-2370 / [email protected]

Hours: Tuesday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Bluebonnet Events significantly simplifies the wedding planning process by providing coordination and floral design all under one roof. As a veteran-woman-owned business, they anchor their entire operation in clear communication and professional expertise to manage your timeline perfectly.

They also offer budget-friendly bundled services with transparent upfront rates, ensuring you know exactly what you are paying for from day one.

Couples can choose from incredibly flexible hour-based coordination packages, allowing you to pay exclusively for the specific level of professional oversight your venue requires. This tailored approach comes backed by a decade of hands-on industry experience.

However, you should be aware of their assignment timeline for smaller coordination packages. Your specific coordinator is only assigned 90 days before the date, and requesting a specific lead earlier requires a rather steep additional fee.

Pros

  • Extensive in-house service offerings
  • Strong local venue familiarity
  • Clear and objective pricing tiers
  • Customizable hourly coordination lengths

Cons

  • Late coordinator assignment window
  • Basic package excludes ceremony rehearsals
