I’ve used Paw Time Favorite Pet Sitting for dog walks and drop-ins, and their professionalism impressed me every time. All staff are background-checked, insured, and certified in pet first aid, which gives me peace of mind for my senior dog.
They offer flexible services like standard walks, adventure walks, and overnight stays. My dog loved the adventure walks to nearby parks, and my cats were well cared for with no extra fees for multiple pets or medications.
Booking is simple through their online platform. Plus, after each visit, I receive detailed reports, photos, and GPS-tracked walk logs, which make leaving home much easier.

She was in Woof Gang Bakery buying food for her animals, and I inquired about the services that was represented on shirt. I’ve had a chance to observe 4 Luv N Care Pet Sitting in action, and what stands out immediately is Amy Holland’s background as a former veterinary technician.
Her decades of hands-on experience really show in the care she gives to each pet. They don’t just handle dogs and cats; I’ve seen them work confidently with birds, reptiles, pocket pets, and even some larger or less common animals.
Services cover everything from walks and mid-day visits to overnight stays, vacation care, and their unique “Bark N Breakfast” boarding.
What really impressed me, though, is the personalized attention. Each visit is tailored: feeding schedules are followed precisely, water bowls are refreshed, and pets with special needs or behavioral quirks are handled with care.

“Could not recommend Amy more! She is so sweet and kind and accommodating. She’s been taking care of my kitties for years and always takes the best care of them. I especially appreciated the daily updates. Each visit came with a detailed “report card” featuring notes and photos sent in real time. It really eased my mind while I was away.

Unlike newer services, Cathy’s Critter Care has over 26 years in San Antonio. It’s led by former zookeeper and sea lion trainer Cathy Vaughan.
I’ve seen them handle exotic and farm animals confidently. During one of my visits, they followed my feeding, medication, and cleaning instructions exactly.
Knowing they have staff certified in pet CPR and first aid gave me extra confidence. This is especially true for my older pet, who needs more attention.
Their specialty services impressed me as well. I used the 10-hour Sleepover Care during a trip, and it kept my dog calm and on routine.
I also appreciated the complimentary 30-minute meet-and-greet. Meeting the sitter beforehand made the process feel personal and gave me real confidence in their approach.
The only drawback I noticed is that their cancellation policy isn’t clearly laid out until after you book. If your plans change often, you’ll want to ask about it in advance to avoid surprises.

Just Fur A While Pet Services specializes in caring for cats, reptiles, and other small or exotic creatures. They offer drop-in visits that include feeding, cage or litter cleaning, and, if needed, some light grooming.
They’ll also give medication, handle special diets, and provide enrichment or social interaction based on your pet’s personality and needs.
In addition to caring for small and exotic pets, they also offer dog walks and potty-break visits in 20-, 30-, 45-, or 60-minute increments.
A friend of mine used them and mentioned that their pricing is straightforward: $23 for 20 minutes, $27 for 30, $33 for 45, and $40 for an hour. She noted that weekend or holiday visits can cost a bit more, so it’s a good idea to check ahead of time.
One limitation to keep in mind is that Just Fur A While’s in‑home pet‑sitting for dogs is available only to existing dog-walking clients and handled on a case-by-case basis.
