Walking into a restaurant and being greeted by colorful Japanese anime decorations instantly brightens the mood. Yoshiya Umami Beef Bowl leans heavily into this fun atmosphere, but their real standout is the diverse menu of high-quality comfort staples.
Their signature chicken katsu curry features a crispy cutlet that holds up beautifully against a rich, velvety sauce. I dropped by for lunch last Tuesday, and the satisfying crunch of the breading paired with the savory gravy was absolutely phenomenal. You can easily taste the care put into crafting such a comforting bowl of food.
However, the physical dining space is somewhat small and fills up very quickly, as it also ranks among the top Japanese restaurants in the area. You might find it quite difficult to secure a table if you arrive right at noon.

Clean And Quick Service
Clean, quiet, quick service, great menu with many options for sushi, teppanyaki, sashimi, ramen, Katsu curry, tempura, etc. Kumori honestly is what got me into sushi, it’s a very easy, casual dining experience for the average person who isn’t a sushi pro, with lots of really tasty options for everyone. And of course there’s the A.Y.C.E. lunch & dinner options (approx. $25 and $32 respectively). All in all, a good spot if you want authentic sushi/ramen 🍜🍣🐠

The Best
Been to this location twice now and I’m impressed! I lived in Tokyo for some time so I’m pretty picky about my Japanese food, but this is the best I’ve had from any chain in the US. I’ve tried the ramen and the katsu curry don as well as the gyoza, and my partner has had several of the rolls. Everything has been delicious. The service is also very prompt, but I wish they would bring additional plates with the appetizers.

Satisfying completely different group cravings is a breeze when a kitchen successfully tackles multiple Asian cuisines. The Pan House shines with an incredibly diverse fusion menu featuring traditional Thai meals alongside a standout signature chicken katsu curry.
I actually ordered this exact meal last month, and the massive portions combined with accessible pricing ensured excellent value. Every bite of the crispy chicken soaked in their aromatic curry sauce felt like a warm hug.
They also offer a wide variety of freshly made boba to serve as the perfect sweet pairing for your savory plate.
The only real downside is trying to find a spot for your car out front. The limited physical parking space often forces you to park much further away during peak hours.

The Owner Was So Kind
Excellent!!! The green curry was delicious, hit the spot. The Thai tea was flavorful! The owner was so kind, she gave me some samples of her homemade desserts! Sooooooooo good! I purchased a flan to go, it’s so creamy and delicious. Will defiantly go back to try other meals and desserts. This is a family owned business, where the food is made with love. Thank you for all your hard work!

One Of The Best
Very accommodating staff. They helped recommend dishes based on my preferences. One of the best katsu curry I’ve had. Leche flan was rich, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. They have other Asian cuisines, so if you are in town looking for Filipino and other Asian dishes I would highly recommend this place.

Finding a traditional establishment that handles delicate sushi and hearty kitchen plates with equal skill is definitely rare. Godai Sushi Bar does exactly that, ensuring all authentic Japanese and Korean entrees are served piping hot straight to your table.
Their savory comfort profiles really shine during the day when they offer generous lunch bento boxes that are incredibly filling. The thick, deeply flavored curry sauce clings perfectly to the crispy protein, creating an explosion of savory goodness in your mouth.
The smooth dining experience provided by the attentive waitstaff makes the meal even more enjoyable.
However, space gets exceptionally tight on weekend evenings. The compact dining room layout can feel quite cramped when the restaurant reaches its full seating capacity.

Super Amazing Food
Super amazing food. I got the curry with chicken. So worth it. Everything tastes fresh and light. Nothing is too overwhelming. I highly recommend this place! It is decently priced as well compared to other sushi places.

The Food Never Misses
Every time I come here it is immaculate! The food never misses and it always leaves me with a smile! The curry over rice, Godai roll, pan fried gyoza and sakemoto are so unbelievably delicious! My friends always like getting the Spicy California roll too! I will be coming back here time and time again! Fani is an extraordinary server!

Taking casual dining to the next level requires a fun environment and deeply flavorful food. Hoki Bento Boba Cafe delivers on both fronts, combining massive, highly customizable bento boxes with authentic curries loaded with traditional potatoes and carrots.
They meticulously deep-fry their katsu items fresh to order, guaranteeing an incredible, shatteringly loud crunch every time you dig in. The relaxed, physical cafe environment is a great spot to sip on their huge variety of milk teas while enjoying that hearty gravy.
Unfortunately, this careful, made-to-order preparation process comes with a slight trade-off. You might experience noticeably longer physical wait times at the counter before you finally receive your hot, freshly assembled meal.

Perfectly Crispy
I love this place, their atmosphere is cozy and cute. I’ve tried their onigiri, their bentos and some boba tea. Their chicken katsu is perfectly crispy, the curry is the perfect addition. The rice is nice and fluffy. They are not lacking flavor in their meal. If you’re in the area, definitely give them a shot because each meal feels like they make it intentionally for each customer. I can’t wait to try their sushi and dessert next.

The Portion Sizes Were Huge
Everything was very delicious, a bit pricey when I first paid but as soon as they handed out food I was baffled. The portion sizes were huge, I couldn’t even finish my plate! Crab Ragoons were delicious, miso soup was incredible, curry was decent. Overall amazing and kind staff, just wish I had a bigger belly.
