Golden Wok has been a beloved part of the local food scene since 1972. They bring over five decades of traditional Chinese cooking expertise to every table. Here, every piece of dim sum is crafted by hand each day to ensure a tender bite.

They’re also one of the few spots that still offer a traditional rolling cart service during their lively weekend brunch. It’s such a joy to simply point at whatever steaming bamboo basket catches your eye.

During my recent visit, the smell of the fresh dumplings completely won me over. I also loved the interactive stir-fry bar because it let me customize with all my favorite vegetables.

It was absolutely delicious!
Came here for the dim sum which is only available on the weekends and it was absolutely delicious! A bit of wait because it’s a popular joint but it’s worth it. They have a koi pond to gaze at which makes the wait time go by fast. I was pleased with variety of dim sum they had available. Definitely making multiple visits in the near future.

The food was amazingly good
Let me start by saying that we decided to make our visit on Christmas day. It wasn’t overly busy when we got there, but you could see that staff was running around trying to make sure everything was operating smoothly. Our food came out in what seemed more like stages, which was great for us because the meals are large enough to share and that’s what we did. The food was amazingly good and the staff went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of. We will definitely be returning.

The food is clean, flavorful, and not overly heavy, with standouts like shrimp dumplings, roast pork belly, and pan-fried noodles. The space is modern and comfortable, and service is consistently friendly. Dim sum is served only until mid-afternoon, but everything is well-executed. Overall, it’s one of the better Asian dining options in the city — tasty, reliable, and worth the visit.

Customer Reviews:

The dumplings were incredibly juicy
We ordered the pig ears, multi-spiced beef, broiled pork dumplings, and beef noodle soup and everything was fantastic! The dumplings were incredibly juicy with perfectly textured wrappers: chewy, and not too thick. The pig ears were seasoned just right. It was spicy, fresh, and loaded with cilantro with an amazing texture. What a pleasant surprise to discover this place on Thanksgiving while visiting from Austin. Highly recommended!

Such a good time and we will be back!
Scallion pancake was fresh, hot, and really good! Chive and pork dumplings (boiled) had great flavor. My partner got the black soybean noodles and really liked it. I had the Lanzhou noodles with beef and really liked it. Such a good time and we will be back!
