1. Lily’s Cookies

Website: https://lilyscookies.com/
Address: 2716 McCullough Ave
Contact: 210.832.0886 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Walking into Lily’s Cookies feels more like stepping into a tiny dessert studio than a basic bakery counter.
Founder Christine McCrae Kelly brings a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) background in painting to the shop. That creative eye shows in the custom cookies and polished dessert bars.
I stopped in for a quick sweet fix and liked that the brownie-style bars still felt scratch-made, rich, and homey. The daily case can include options like turtle or cream cheese swirl, so there’s usually something beyond plain chocolate.
The downside is convenience. They’re closed on Sundays, and the space is better for grab-and-go treats than sitting down with coffee.
Worth every penny
How did I barely discover this place! Went today to fix a sweet craving. Oh my goodness the first bite was followed by that “oh my god this is so good” and the second bite was followed by “okay we are going back”. Worth every penny! We got the pumpkin twinkie, the red velvet whoppie pie, the snickers brownie, and a lemon bar.

2. Cinnaholic

Website: https://www.cinnaholic.com/menu
Address: 5519 W Loop 1604 N Ste 104
Contact: (210) 281-4799 | [email protected]
Hours: Tuesday-Thursday, 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM; Friday, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM; Sunday, 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Finding a decadent brownie that’s also plant-based can be tricky, which is why Cinnaholic stands out.
The shop’s whole menu is vegan. That means guests avoiding dairy or eggs can order brownies, cookies, rolls, and other sweets with a lot less second-guessing.
I also like that the brand leans into customization. Even though cinnamon rolls are the headline item, the toppings and frosting options make it easy to build a dessert that feels more personal than a standard bakery case pick.
The catch is that brownies are not the main event here. If you want a deeply specialized chocolate bar menu, a dedicated bakery may give you more choices.
Premium vegan ingredients can also make the final price feel higher than a simple grocery treat.
Everything is made fresh
I LOVE CINNAHOLIC. As someone with dairy allergies, I absolutely love that you can go to Cinnaholic and order anything from their menu without worrying about allergies. The food is always delicious, from the cookies to the brownies and the cinnamon rolls or the trifles, everything is made fresh and always tastes great.

3. Tiff’s Treats Cookie Delivery

Website: https://www.cookiedelivery.com/
Address: 1221 Broadway St #114
Contact: (210) 318-2490
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday, 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Tiff’s Treats is the spot I can rely on when the brownie craving hits after dinner, and leaving the house sounds awful. Their whole appeal is warm delivery, with treats baked to order instead of pulled from a cold display case.
The brownie menu is simple but useful, especially if you like classic fudge squares or heavier dessert bars alongside cookies.
If you’re tired of searching through traditional cake shops for a quick gift, their packaging and balloon options make sending a sweet surprise easier.
The tradeoff is cost and coverage. Delivery fees can make small orders feel pricey, and some outer neighborhoods may sit outside the warm delivery zone.
Very fresh, moist, warm, and delicious
First time trying them amd they were very very fresh, moist, warm, and delicious!!!!! No one could eat just one!! You’ll surely need water if eating 2 or three!!! 4. Délice Chocolatier & Patisserie

Website: https://www.delicechocolatier.com/
Address: 946 N. Loop 1604 W. Canyon Creek Suite #145, between Blanco Rd and Stone Oak Pkwy
Contact: (210) 545-2200
Hours: Monday-Saturday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Délice Chocolatier & Patisserie feels like a better fit for people who want a brownie with real pastry-shop personality.
The team’s Belgian-style approach and small-batch freshness give the double chocolate brownie a more layered feel, especially with the cinnamon and walnut twist.
I like that the shop feels different from standard candy stores because the display is elegant, careful, and highly crafted. It’s the kind of place I would visit when I want a box of desserts that feels more thoughtful than a last-minute grocery run.
The downside is timing. Their hours end early, and they are closed on Sundays.
Custom event orders also come with stricter lead times and policies, so this is not the easiest option for spontaneous brownie runs.
Delicious and delightful indulgence
Visited this store a couple of days ago and it was a delicious and delightful indulgence. We tried the vanilla and the carrot cake. They were rich in flavor and I can’t wait to try more and see which one is my fave. We also tried the coconut macaroons, dipped in dark chocolate. The last thing we tried was the chocolate brownie, it is for chocolate lovers, yum!

The cake was beyond delicious
I ordered a dark chocolate cake for my sons 40th birthday. The cake was beyond delicious. It was out if this world. Everyone made positive comments and they are still enjoying what was left. I also ordered brownies and they were out if this world. We will definitely make that our go to place for cakes.

5. Bird Bakery

Website: https://www.birdbakery.com/
Address: 5912 Broadway
Contact: (210) 804-2473
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Bird Bakery is the place I’d recommend to those who want a brownie that tastes rich without feeling generic.
Their kitchen uses standout ingredients like Plugrá butter and French Valrhona cocoa, and they bake from scratch daily instead of selling day-old sweets.
I grabbed one of their larger brownie squares during a weekend visit, and the buttery texture made the higher price easier to understand.
The bakery also has a nice community angle because remaining treats are donated at the end of the day.
The downside is demand. Popular flavors can sell out early, and the premium ingredient list means you should expect boutique bakery pricing rather than bargain snack pricing.
Still, for a polished gift or personal treat, it feels memorable.
Very cute and delicious place
Very cute and delicious place! We got the decadent chocolate cupcake, Eggnog cupcake, and a walnut brownie. The Eggnog is a must try! Super good. I would describe the flavor similar to a tres leches.

Excellent taste
Excellent taste! Nice place with a friendly staff. It’s small, however there was plenty of seats. Most people are in and out and take thier stuff to go. We ordered to go and it was quick. I will definitely be back. The sugar conjures and Mexican Hot Chocolate brownies looked great.
