We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Comprehensive Treatment Options: We sought clinics offering a wide range of appliances, from traditional metal brackets to lingual systems. This careful selection ensures that patients have access to choices that fit their specific aesthetic preferences and clinical needs.

Advanced Clinical Technology: Practices that utilize modern digital scanning and accelerated orthodontic methods received greater consideration in our thorough evaluation. These technological integrations often lead to faster treatment times, precise diagnostics, and significantly increased patient comfort.

Financial Accessibility: We prioritized offices that offer flexible payment plans, zero-percent interest options, and in-house financing. Affordable and transparent care is a crucial factor for families and individuals managing long-term healthcare budgets.

Patient Experience and Convenience: Evaluating the physical clinic environment and operational hours helped us understand the overall ease of attending regular appointments. Facilities with accommodating schedules, dedicated emergency protocols, and welcoming atmospheres naturally stood out in our assessment.

Navigating the journey to a straighter smile can feel overwhelming, whether you are a parent seeking orthodontic care for a teenager or an adult professional wanting discreet correction.

Finding the best braces in San Antonio involves carefully evaluating treatment options, financing flexibility, and clinic environment.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Led by a doctor with rare dual board certification in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, Oliver Family Orthodontics provides a highly specialized care for growing children.

We found that they use advanced self-ligating speed brackets that eliminate elastic ties and reduce friction. This results in a more comfortable, efficient alignment process.

We also spoke with a parent whose teenager recently started treatment, and she raved about the clinic’s thoughtful environment. There’s even a complimentary coffee bar and free Wi-Fi, which make routine visits much more pleasant.

For patients seeking discreet options, the practice offers hidden lingual or Incognito™ braces that deliver a fully invisible look.

The main limitation is the schedule. Appointments are strictly during standard weekday hours, with no weekend availability for busy families.

Pros

  • Integrates surgical orthodontic treatments
  • Accelerated tooth movement
  • Aesthetic ceramic bracket options
  • Requires fewer adjustment visits

Cons

  • No weekend appointment availability
  • Patient-driven insurance verification

Customer Reviews

We’ve had 2 kids go thru braces here and the whole process was perfect. Virtually no wait time, friendly staff and orthodontist, excellent prices and payment plans, Beautiful outcomes. The doctor personally called me back after hours to offer solutions for my daughter’s mouth sore. He also called me after she got her braces off to tell me he’d spotted something unusual on her xray and referred us to an oral surgeon where they were able to find a cyst. Thank you for looking out for us. Yall are the absolute best!!

Getting my braces, done with OFO was the best decision ever!! They’re professional, personable the name on the board was very welcoming, and now 2yrs later they gave me a smile that’s welcoming, confidence boosting, and husband finding lol. I’m positive I’ll find my second husband with this smile so thank you  Dr. Oliver for your work and your patience and professionalism, and thanks in advance for my future husband lol. 😂

As a full-service, multi-specialty dental center, Culebra Family Dentistry & Orthodontics makes it easy to handle both routine family dentistry and specialized orthodontic treatments in one visit.

Advanced aesthetic options like lingual braces provide a completely hidden solution, and the on-site specialists can tackle complex malocclusion cases that standard removable aligners often can’t fix.

Customer Reviews

I had a great experience. It was my first time visiting Culebra Family Dentistry. I made my appointment online, which was very easy. I received notifications by text and emailed,  which was great. The staff was great! They were friendly, genuine ans attentive. My entire visit was enjoyable, which is hard when you’re going to the dentist. Everyone working that day made for a great experience.

Culebra Family Dentistry is professional, friendly, and efficient. The staff is welcoming and makes the visit easy from start to finish. Being open until 7 on Mondays and having Saturday hours is extremely helpful, especially with a busy schedule. Dr. Pooja J. Chothani is a great dentist—she takes the time to explain everything, walks you through each procedure, and is very kind. Overall, a great experience and a place I’d definitely recommend.

The team also prioritizes preserving natural teeth by avoiding permanent extractions whenever possible and offers excellent in-house financing to make treatment more accessible.

Customer Reviews

This was our first time at this practice and my son absolutely loved it. They took such good care of him and made him comfortable. He loved the massage chair and the cool toys he received. We were told by a different dental practice that our son was ready for braces but the dentist at the office advices us to wait. I appreciated his honesty. We can’t wait to go back!

The team at Stone Oak Orthodontics is so kind and professional! Dr. Tito Norris was a pleasure to meet, and I’m about to embark on my Maxillo Mandibular advancement journey with them. I’ll be in braces for a year, and I feel completely confident in their care. Julie was so warm and caring in helping me get everything set up for my start date on September 24. If you’re considering any type of orthodontic work, I highly recommend Dr. Norris and his amazing team at Stone Oak Orthodontics. And don’t miss meeting Rosie and Rusty, they’ll brighten your day!

We just wrapped initial consult and our entire experience was smooth and so worth it. Everyone was extremely welcoming and nice. Dr. Ayla did a thorough review and went over everything in detail with us. We put on braces during the consult and the full visit lasted a little over a hour. Looking forward to having my daughter treated here! Highly recommend.

Cat was absolutely perfect while assisting with my braces adjustment. She was professional, gentle, and made the whole process smooth and comfortable. I really appreciated her attention to detail and great attitude. Excellent experience overall!

Customer Reviews

Great office for my son. We started going here over a year ago for a consult. She worked with our dentist to help with a treatment plan and yesterday we officially started braces. The whole process was really easy and my son had a positive experience. We are looking forward to treatment and seeing his confidence grow.

Dr. Parodi is very knowledgeable and kind. The girls in the back are quick and gentle! If you or your kids are looking into braces but unsure, I HIGHLY recommend this office… and hey their consultations are FREE!!!!
